As a Security Officer Armed Driver Security Clearance in Huntsville, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This is an armed and driving post offering the opportunity to support critical operations while working with an agile, reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting security-related concerns according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the business, perimeter, and other assigned areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess 1 or more year of security-related experience.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED, as required by the client.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
