DatamanUSA is looking for a Assembler 2 for our direct client based in AL. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a quick learner with excellent people skills.
Job Details:
Job Title: Assembler 2
Location: Madison, AL
Duration: 3 months
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Work closely with a team of 4 - 6 assemblers performing a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assemblies.
• Perform toolbox audits at the beginning and end of shift.
• Ensure 5S Task Daily Sweep is completed daily.
Basic Qualifications for Assembler:
• Able to read work instructions.
• Able to use basic power hand tools.
Preferred Qualifications for Assembler:
• Able to read drawings / wiring diagrams.
• Previous government contract experience.
• Assembler 1 Experience with ESD (electrostatic discharge) and FOD (foreign object damage) control.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
