Sales Associate/Cashier
We are looking for Cash Register attendants to join our team in a counter service restaurant. As a member of our team, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating the cash register, and ensuring a smooth and efficient flow of orders. You should be able to handle fast-paced work environments and remain calm under pressure.
Responsibilities :- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service.
- Take customer orders and enter them into the cash register.
- Operate the cash register, handle cash, credit and debit card transactions, and provide accurate change.
- Coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure all orders are accurate and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized front of house area including the dining and service areas.
- Assist with food preparation and assembly as needed, such as putting together customer orders.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, such as food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Assist with cleaning duties as assigned, such as bussing tables, dishes and taking out trash.
Skills:
- Proven experience in a customer service or cashier role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with kitchen staff.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work efficiently and stay calm in a high-pressured environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
