Inventory / Parts Clerk
ATSS has a client in Theodore, AL looking for an Inventory/ Parts Clerk for a 90 day temp to perm position.
Pay Rate: $20
Schedule: 40 hours per week
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen prior to being hired.
JOB SUMMARY
The Parts Clerk is responsible for performing a range of general warehouse tasks, including loading, unloading, stock, inventory, picking project orders, and receiving. The Parts Clerk contributes to the efficiency of the production flow by ensuring high safety and accuracy standards are maintained at all times.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to stand and walk distances in elements within a large area, climb ladders, and perform repetitive lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to respond positively to training and multitask as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Background in parts
- Ability to drive forklift
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Verify all received shipments by checking order packing list against all items received
- Accurately notate important information, such as, serial numbers on all received shipments
- Inspect all incoming items for defects or damage
- Deliver received parts to correct destination or stock as required
- Assemble and stage parts orders for upcoming projects using pick tickets
- Prepare outgoing shipments
- Support in maintaining inventory records
- Assist with keeping work areas clean
- Other duties as assigned
