Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist

Open Systems Technologies Corporation is looking for a Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist to join our high performing cyber team in support of a large SOC enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

Coordinates with Cyber Defense Analysts to manage and administer the updating of rules and signatures for specialized cyber defense applications. Perform system administration on specialized cyber defense applications and systems and Virtual Private Network (VPN) devices, to include installation, configuration, maintenance, backup, and restoration. Assist in identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the protection of critical cyber defense infrastructure and key resources. Build, install, configure, and test dedicated cyber defense hardware. Assist in assessing the impact of implementing and sustaining a dedicated cyber defense infrastructure. Implement Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) requirements for dedicated cyber defense systems within the enterprise, and document and maintain records for them.

Required Skills:

• Clearance: Top Secret with the ability to sit for the CI Poly
• Requires BS or BA degree
• 8 year overall experience in the areas of Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support
• Experience with Linux based environment administration (R)
• Experience testing, implementing, deploying, maintaining, and administering infrastructure hardware and software for cybersecurity. (R)
• Experience developing, creating, modifying, and maintaining computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for cybersecurity. (R)

Preferred Skills:

Having the following tools experience and/or certifications:

• Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA)
• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Associate
• Experience integrating third-party components, the introduction of new custom capabilities, modification of existing code, process improvement recommendation, and automation of operations and maintenance tasks (P)
• Experience with Splunk, Oracle/SQL based platforms, and python (P)
