Account Payable

This is a remote position.

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for processing invoices, executing vendor payments, and reconciling accounts to ensure accurate financial records. We are seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Specialist to support our finance team by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and well-maintained financial records. This role is critical to maintaining strong vendor relationships and financial compliance in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

Process high-volume vendor invoices accurately and on time

Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices (3-way matching)

Verify invoice coding, approvals, and compliance with company policies

Prepare and process weekly/monthly payment runs (ACH, wire, check)

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing issues

Maintain accurate accounts, payable records and supporting documentation

Respond to internal and external vendor inquiries professionally

Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and internal controls

Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed

Collaborate with procurement, finance, and other departments to resolve issues
