Warehouse Associate I - Part-Time
Shift: Monday - Friday 9am - 2pm
Pay rate: $20 per hour (includes shift differential)
Bonus eligible: No

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health
Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.Responsibilities
- Unloading the UPS and FedEx IB parcel deliveries.
- Delivering mail and product throughout the warehouse using a jack.
- Recycling cardboard and other trash items.
- Changing cardboard bales.
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of experience, preferred
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred

- Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area
- Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications
- Works on basic and routine assignments
- Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods
- Adheres to all quality guidelines
- Works under close supervision
- All work is reviewed for accuracy
- Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding
