Lead Landscaper / Landscape Crew Lead
Location: Birmingham, AL
Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Landscaper to join our team in Birmingham. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can operate independently, troubleshoot issues in the field, and effectively lead a crew to complete landscaping projects safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise landscape crews on commercial and residential projects
• Perform landscape maintenance, installation, irrigation repairs, and general groundskeeping
• Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently
• Identify and resolve issues in the field with minimal supervision
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and meet quality standards
• Train and mentor crew members as needed
• Communicate effectively with management, clients, and team members
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous landscaping experience required
• Prior crew lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in the field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to perform minor repairs on equipment, irrigation systems, and landscaping features
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
