Transactional Attorney

We are seeking a skilled Real Estate & Transactional Attorney to join our growing team and play a key role in supporting real estate closings and general transactional matters. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, responsive attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is experienced in Alabama real estate law and title work. In addition, you will have the opportunity to assist with Probate and Estate Planning matters, broadening your legal experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct and oversee residential and commercial real estate closings
• Review title searches and prepare title opinions
• Identify and resolve title issues efficiently
• Draft and review legal documents, including deeds, contracts, affidavits, and settlement statements
• Advise staff, clients, agents, and lenders on Alabama real estate law and closing practices
• Serve as attorney-of-record on transactions
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all transactions
• Assist with general transactional legal matters as needed
• Support business development and firm growth initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Active Alabama law license in good standing (Required)
• Must reside in Alabama (Required)
• Florida law license is a plus
• Minimum 2 years of experience in real estate and/or transactional law preferred
• Strong understanding of Alabama property and title law
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Professional demeanor with strong attention to detail
• Familiarity with Qualia or other real estate closing software is a plus
• Experience with Probate & Estate Planning matters preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Starting salary from $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
