Our mission is to build monitoring services that comprehensively view, analyze, plan, and optimize to meet the growing scale and operational complexity of our networks.We are looking for a Software Engineer who will design and develop software for major components in our Network Monitoring, Capacity Planning & Analytics Stack. You should be comfortable at building complex distributed systems involving a huge amount of data handling - collecting metrics, building data pipelines, and analytics for real-time processing, online processing, and batch processing. Prior experience in coding is required. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in software development * 3+ years of experience in developing large scale distributed services/applications * Proficiency with Java/Python/Go and Object-Oriented programming * Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms * Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills * Masters's degree in Computer Science or equivalent Desired Qualifications: * Knowledge of cloud computing & networking technologies including monitoring services * Networking Management Technologies such as SNMP, Netflow, BGP Monitoring Protocol * Experience developing service-oriented systems * Exposure to Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, open TSDB, Elastic Search or other distributed compute platforms * Knowledge of AI systems and it's applications * Experience in systems that process massive amounts of data * Knowledge of Scrum & Agile Methodologies **Responsibilities** As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
