Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, process guest and delivery access, and document arrivals, departures, and unusual activity according to site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including access points, parking areas, and perimeter zones, to help support security-related operations and report conditions requiring attention.
• Help to deter unauthorized access, assist with traffic and visitor flow at gates and lobbies, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and other required records.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
