Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer to its team of diverse and qualified individuals. This position is in **Roy, UT** , **Colorado Springs, CO** or **Huntsville, AL** and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.
**What you will get to do:**
The selected candidate will be part of the Command and Launch - Command and Control (C2) Product Engineering Team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Modeling, Simulation & Analysis for specific aspects of the system.
+ Support analysis for requirement decomposition and traceability.
+ Support MBSE strategy and implementation.
+ Coordinate with sub-contracted product teams for compliance with contractual SOW and established program model governance.
+ Contribute content for presentations to internal and external stakeholders.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, or 0 years of experience with Master's degree
+ Principal Systems Engineer: Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree, 1 years of experience with PhD
+ Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years
+ Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
+ 1-2 years of experience with System Analysis using MATLAB, Python, C++, STK and/or other analytical modeling tools
**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
+ Experience with Systems Engineering
+ Experience with Atlassian Products such as JIRA, Confluence, ext.
+ Experience with Department of Defense and/or Missile Systems
+ Experience with Product Engineering Development and Life Cycles
+ Understanding of Requirements Development and Decomposition
+ Experience with Agile Development
Salary Range: $77,200.00 - $128,000.00Salary Range 2: $95,300.00 - $158,000.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
