Airport Services Aide (8803)
- Performs routine airport custodial tasks in the airport’s main lobby, terminal, bathrooms, and administrative offices using tools and equipment such as buffer machines, vacuum cleaner, mops, gloves, and cleaning solutions following supervisor’s written or oral instructions in order to clean and maintain the airport’s building.
- Performs basic mechanical and maintenance repair tasks in the airport using a ladder and basic hand tools such as a screwdriver, needle nose pliers and wire cutters following verbal or written instructions in order to maintain the physical condition of the building.
- Performs ground maintenance duties on the airport grounds using assorted hand tools following established rules in order to maintain and upkeep the airport grounds .
Knowledge of methods, materials and equipment used in custodial work.
Knowledge of safe practices in the use of cleaning materials and equipment.
Knowledge of safe practice in lifting, stooping, climbing ladders and ladders in the operation and repair of equipment.
