Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Virtual SpeechLanguage Pathologist (SLPCCC) Full-Time | AL

Fully remote must hold an active Alabama SLP license

Full-time (1099 contract)
20252026 school year

• Masters degree in SpeechLanguage Pathology from an accredited program

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (SLPCCC)

• Active Alabama license from the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

• At least 400 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum (minimum 375 hours of direct service)

• Nine months of full-time supervised professional experience (or equivalent)

• Passing score on the Praxis exam

• Demonstrated good moral character and a clear criminal background check

• 2+ years of school-based SLP experience (preferred)

• Teletherapy experience is a bonus

• Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet workspace

Youll deliver virtual therapy to K12 students across Alabama via secure video platforms. School teams manage scheduling and logisticsso you can focus on what you do best: therapy.

• Conduct engaging teletherapy sessions tailored to students needs

• Perform evaluations, develop IEP goals, and submit progress reports

• Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, and school teams

• Follow Alabama Department of Education standards and Board documentation guidelines

• Use digital tools and creative strategies to keep students engaged

• Consistent, full-time hours

• 100% remote, work-from-home position

• Access to digital therapy resources and tools

• Support from on-site school staff for logistics and coordination

• Potential for contract renewal in future school years

• Alabama licensure requires a Masters degree, supervised clinical practicum, nine months of professional experience , passing the Praxis, and a background check

• Licenses are renewed annually and require 12 hours of continuing education (CEUs)

• Provisional licenses are available for recent graduates

• Out-of-state SLPs and ASHA-certified professionals may qualify for licensure by reciprocity
