Regional Director of Operations - Alabama

With 16 communities across multiple states, we specialize in Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Independent Living services. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Regional Director of Operations to oversee our Alabama Assisted Living facilities. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Regional Director of Operations and as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) , with a proven record of success in senior care. This role involves regular travel between facilities to ensure smooth operations, strong leadership, and consistent performance. It also offers a unique opportunity for candidates with a strong sales background or nursing expertise to make a meaningful impact by driving growth and enhancing resident care. The selected candidate will be a key addition to our expanding Regional Leadership Team and will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer.

Position: Regional Director of Operations - Alabama

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall operation of communities in the assigned region.
• Support Administrators/Executive Directors in leading management teams across all departments.
• Execute business development strategies and direct short‑ and long‑term planning.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations and policies.
• Manage operating plans, budgets, and capital improvements.
• Review PL statements, address problem areas, and attend corporate meetings.
• Oversee hiring, training, and represent the company publicly.
• Visit assigned communities regularly to provide leadership and oversight.

Leadership and Management:

• Provide overall direction to ensure successful facility operations.
• Supervise and support LNHA/Executive Directors in daily operations.
• Foster a collaborative, professional work environment.
• Implement company policies and conduct performance evaluations.

Operational Excellence:

• Monitor financial performance, ensuring revenue growth and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate on strategic planning and operational improvements.
• Promote continuous improvement and excellence in resident care.

Requirements:

• Active Alabama LNHA license.
• Minimum 3 years of LNHA/Executive Director leadership experience in Assisted Living, Long‑Term Care, or Skilled Nursing.
• At least 2 years of multi‑site or regional leadership experience.
• Ability to travel within Alabama (up to 70%).
• A strong sales background is highly valued, and nursing experience is considered a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Alabama state regulations for Assisted Living and related care settings.
