Journeyman Electrician – Mobile River Bridge Project

Mobile, AL | Full-Time
Compensation: $26 – $40 per hour (plus job bonuses)

This landmark project will span 5 to 6 years and offers electricians the opportunity to work close to home while being part of a once-in-a-generation infrastructure upgrade.

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Electrician at InLine, you’ll help deliver safe, efficient, and modern electrical solutions for major DOT-led infrastructure projects. Your work will directly support the lighting, signaling, fiber-optic systems, and traffic management networks that power smarter, safer roads.

Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Installations
  Install and service electrical systems and components, including conduit, fiber, lighting, surge protection, and grounding across high-profile bridge and highway segments.

• Team Leadership
  Guide apprentices and laborers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.

• System Maintenance
  Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure operational excellence in ITS and roadway systems.

• Documentation & Communication
  Maintain accurate logs and collaborate with project managers, DOT inspectors, and fellow team members.

Qualifications

• License: Valid Journeyman Electrician License or Card.

• Preferred: IMSA Level II Traffic Signal Tech or similar DOT-related certification.

• Experience: 4+ years of electrical fieldwork, ideally in infrastructure or heavy highway.

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent hands-on experience.

• Requirements: Valid driver’s license (CDL A or B preferred or willingness to obtain).

• Physical: Able to lift 50–100 lbs and work outdoors in various site conditions.

Additional Details

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8–10 hour shifts

• Pay: $26.00 – $40.00 per hour + performance/job bonuses
