Leidos' Defense Systems Electronic Manufacturing Facility is seeking a Cable Test Technician to join our team at our Electronics Manufacturing Facility. The successful candidate will support different programs ranging from commercial customers to DoD customers. The technician is responsible for a variety of low voltage and Hi-Pot testing. Apply and share your resume with us today! **Primary Responsibilities** + Test completed cable assemblies for continuity, shorts, dielectric withstand voltage, and insulation resistance. + Test coax cables for insertion loss and reflection coefficient. + Ability to build test cables. + Interpret engineer drawings, electrical schematics, and technical specifications. + Candidates must have experience working with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, and other technicians to develop a strategy and identify any problems that could occur during assembly. + Perform troubleshooting with an ability to clearing explain the issue. **Basic Qualifications** + Candidates must possess a High School diploma/GED with 2-4 years cable building and/or electrical/mechanical assembly experience. + Working knowledge of specialized tools and equipment used during cable assembly process. + Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain a Secret Clearance **.** **Preferred Qualifications** + Current or prior certification in IPC/WHMA-A-620 with Space addendum. + Current or prior certification in J-STD-001. + Working knowledge of CableEye cable tester, Keysight Fieldfox, and Fluke digital multimeters.
