Key Responsibilities:

• Operate baler and related equipment to compress, bind, and package recycled materials (such as cardboard, plastic, and paper)
• Load materials into baler, ensuring proper sorting and contamination control
• Monitor machinery for safe and efficient operation; report any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Perform regular equipment checks, cleaning, and basic maintenance
• Remove completed bales and transport to designated storage or shipping areas using pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified)
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and housekeeping procedures
• Accurately document bale weights, materials processed, and any equipment issues
• Follow established procedures for proper material handling and waste disposal
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
• Adhere to all company safety policies, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures
