Shipping/Receiving Coordinator
Location: Citronelle, AL
Schedule: Monday–Friday 6am-3pm
Pay: $18
Job Overview:
Our client, a well-established galvanizing company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Coordinator to join their team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced industrial environment with competitive pay and potential for growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily shipping and receiving operations, including loading, unloading, and verifying shipments.
Ensure accuracy of shipments against orders, packing lists, and invoices.
Coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to schedule and track shipments.
Maintain records of inventory movements and update tracking systems.
Inspect shipments for damage and discrepancies, reporting issues promptly.
Support warehouse organization and safety compliance.
Assist with inventory audits and stock management as needed.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics coordination, preferably in industrial or manufacturing settings.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency with basic computer software and inventory systems.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Forklift certification is a plus.
Comfortable working in an industrial/warehouse environment and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
