Job Overview
As a licensed claims adjuster, you will evaluate damages, negotiate settlements, and assist individuals and businesses in recovering from storm‑related events. You may handle up to 100 or more claims and will be supported with comprehensive training.
Responsibilities
- Investigate and assess damage claims for individuals and businesses.
- Prepare detailed claim reports and recommend settlement amounts.
- Negotiate settlements with policyholders and adjusters.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with industry standards.
- Provide guidance to clients during the claims process.
Qualifications
- Licensed Claims Adjuster with at least 100 approved claims under your name, or exposure equals entry‑level.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of local weather‑related incident reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency with claims management software preferred.
