Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current Special Education teaching certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Experience developing and executing IEPs
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local Special Education regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families
- Adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic about empowering diverse learners
Core Responsibilities:
- Create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ unique needs
- Assess student progress, monitor goals, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure success for each student

- Participate in team meetings and professional development sessions
- Advocate for students and work proactively to remove learning barriers
