Responsibilities
- Conduct initial evaluations and develop comprehensive PT treatment plans for residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Implement therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, gait, and functional independence
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting plans as needed according to standardized criteria and facility policy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (nursing, therapy assistants, physicians) to coordinate care
- Ensure patient and staff safety during therapy sessions and maintain infection control standards
- Provide education to patients and families and support discharge planning with appropriate home exercise programs

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in Alabama or eligibility to practice in the state
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Ability to work the 08:00–16:30 shift, five days per week
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment
- Experience in geriatric or skilled nursing rehabilitation preferred
