Air Liquide is hiring for a Buyer in Santa Ana, CA.

Responsibilities will include processing purchase orders from MRP, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and liaising with inventory teams and management.

● Research, select and purchase quality products and materials.

● Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best

pricing.

● Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.

● Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.

● Coordinate with the inventory team, management, and stockroom as

required.

● Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to

suppliers and management.

● Handle outside processing.

● Disposition NCRs on time.

● Coordinate with accounting for supplier payments / resolutions etc.

Are you a MATCH?

Required Qualifications:

● HS Diploma or GED is required.

● 3-5 years of relevant experience.

● Excellent computer skills (Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint).

● SAP

● Critical thinking and negotiation skills.

● Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

● Knowledge of sales and marketing principles is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

● Bachelor's Degree is preferred

The annual base salary range for this position in California is $90,000 - $105,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Air Liquide considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
