ProCare Therapy is seeking a committed and passionate Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in a supportive school district in Cusseta, Alabama for the 20252026 school year . This role is perfect for an educator who is dedicated to creating inclusive learning environments and making a lasting impact on students with exceptional needs. Position Overview:
- Location: Cusseta, AL
- Contract Dates: August 2025 May 2026
- Type: Full-Time, 37.540 hours per week
- Setting: To be discussed (may include inclusion, resource, or self-contained)
- Caseload: TBD based on school needs
- Deliver instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Work collaboratively with general education teachers, parents, and support staff
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state/federal guidelines
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
- Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education
- Must hold a valid Alabama Special Education Teaching License
- Experience in K12 special education preferred
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
