C&B Piping, LLC, founded in Adamsville, AL in 1986, is a full-service manufacturing supplier of ductile iron piping systems with a primary focus on the water & wastewater treatment plant industry. Our headquarters and primary manufacturing facility is in Leeds, Alabama while our Gilbert, Arizona and Amhurst, Virginia fabrication and linings/coatings facility proudly serves our eastern and western United States customers.
We are proud to be the nation’s largest supplier of porcelain glass linings for ductile iron pipe systems. We have more manufacturing machines for ductile iron pipe under one roof than any other ductile iron fabricator in the USA. We fabricate the full-size range (3”-64”) of ductile iron pipe available. We are a licensed applicator of Protecto 401 Ceramic Epoxy and Ceramapure PL90 linings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume accounts payable invoices: purchase order matching, resolve discrepancies, and issue payments.
- Reconcile credit card statements, and various other vendor account statements.
- Process high-volume accounts receivable: generate invoices, analyze margins, post payments, and assist with collections.
- Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts and prepare month-end accruals.
- Knowledge of Sales, Use and Rental taxes when applicable.
- Participate in month-end close and sales/use tax computations.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will be one who is organized, friendly, punctual, flexible, thoroughly professional.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in Accounting is a plus!).
- Minimum of seven years of progressive experience handling Accounts Payable.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP software. (Global Shop preferred).
- Detail-oriented and trustworthy with sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Self-starter attitude with strong work ethic and team management skills.
- Positive attitude and team player.
- Must be self-directed, able to manage multiple projects, seek out opportunities to create value by streamlining processes, setting priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborates with accounting team and other departments.
- Able to work in a fast paced and high volume environment.
- Able to meet deadlines.
