Job Title: Flux Core Welder

Job Description:
As a Flux Core Welder, you will be responsible for welding metal components using flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) techniques. You will work with a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and other alloys, to produce high-quality welds for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform flux core welding on carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the proper welding process.
• Set up and operate welding equipment, including welding machines, tools, and accessories.
• Inspect and measure workpieces to ensure that they meet specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any welding issues or equipment malfunctions.
• Perform weld repairs as needed and ensure all completed welds meet or exceed quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder, with a minimum of 2 years of welding experience.
• Proficient in flux core welding techniques, including FCAW on a variety of metals.
• Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols.
• Certifications in welding (e.g., AWS, ASME) preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in physically demanding conditions.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights as necessary.
