Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced DC Supervisor for our client in the Montgomery, AL area! Headway Workforce Solutions focuses on providing high-quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $30/hour - $31/hour. Assignment anticipated for 3 months with potential to convert to full time.

The overall mission of this position involves supplying auto parts and accessories to store locations. Team members will be required to assist in any department (other than their primary department) when and where their assistance is required. May be responsible for performing any number of duties and functions, depending upon what department they are primarily assigned to. These departments may include: Shipping, Receiving, Replenishment Reclamation, Cycle Count, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include the following:

Marks pallets with identifying store information.

Uses the computer RF to enter records.

Keeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.

Uses a hand held radio frequency device (R.F. Unit).

Consistent, reliable attendance.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Prior warehouse experience or training is preferred but not required.
• Dock experience highly preferred
• People management experience is a top priority
• 3-4 years Team Lead or dock lead experience highly preferred
• Hands on experience working with a team
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Additional Info (Work Schedule)

• 10:00 am - 7:00 pm (OT will be required) Minimum 40 hour work week

• Stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear
• Frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50. Items heavier than 50lbs will be moved with assistance of Pallet Jack or Forklift
• Have specific vision abilities which include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
