As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Healthcare Driver** in **Tuscaloosa, AL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. **What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual conditions or behaviors.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, or maintenance needs in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
+ Assist with access control and visitor management processes as required by the location.
+ Collaborate with healthcare staff and first responders as needed during emergencies or incidents.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ This is primarily a driving post.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
