Role Description

This full-time Associate Attorney position is an on-site role located in Birmingham, AL. The Associate Attorney will provide legal counsel, draft and review legal documents, assist with medical malpractice cases, and handle negotiations on behalf of clients. Additionally, the role involves conducting legal research to support case strategies and offering precise legal advice to address client needs. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients to deliver effective legal solutions and maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Associate will gain hands-on experience across all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, depositions, and motion practices.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of litigation experience preferred with some exposure to healthcare or professional liability matters.
• Proficiency in providing clear and effective Legal Advice to clients in a professional setting
• Demonstrated capabilities in conducting thorough and detailed Legal Research
• Proven skills in Negotiation and dispute resolution
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active bar licensure in the state of Alabama

Normal Hours: 8:00 am-5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Criminal/Drug screening.
