Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years ER RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This role requires a Registered Nurse with Emergency Room expertise to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced hospital emergency department. The RN is responsible for utilizing the Nursing Process in compliance with state regulations and hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety, and delivering effective clinical care to Emergency Room patients. Strong critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills are essential to anticipate patient needs and coordinate care within the team.

Key Qualifications and Certifications:

• Active Alabama RN license (must be attached with resume)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attachedno RQI certifications accepted)
• TNCC certification (must be attached)
• Proven experience in Emergency Room nursing
• Ability to supervise and delegate patient care tasks effectively

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process in the Emergency Department
• Lead and coordinate patient care priorities with assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and state Nurse Practice Act guidelines
• Deliver safe, evidence-based care and support quality patient outcomes
