Avionics Technician

As an Avionics Technician, you will be responsible for performing avionics repair, installation, and modification on a variety of commercial fixed-wing aircraft.

• Perform avionics repair on commercial fixed-wing aircraft.
• Install avionics systems and components.
• Modify aircraft avionics according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve avionics issues effectively.
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve timely aircraft turnaround.

• Proficiency in avionics systems and repair.
• 3+ years of avionics experience.
• Experience with aircraft modification and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and install avionics components.
• Strong understanding of avionics systems.

• Preferred experience with commercial aircraft platforms.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have own tools in a box (not required to be shadowed or etched).

The role is based in a hangar and currently operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday. There may be the addition of a 2nd and 3rd shift, so flexibility is preferred, though candidates with specific shift preferences are also considered.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Birmingham, AL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
