SportsMED is seeking experienced a full-time mid-level provider (CRNP or PA-C) to work with Dr. Sanat Dixit. Dr. Dixit specializes in neurosurgery. This position will be located at our Huntsville, Madison and Athens offices. OR experience is preferred.

We’re a high-growth neurosurgery and spine practice looking for an experienced, motivated Advanced Practice Provider w surgical experience who thrives in a supportive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment . This position is primarily spine-focused , with the opportunity to participate in selected cranial neurosurgical procedures as your skills and interests develop.
What You’ll Do- Manage and evaluate spine patients across outpatient and inpatient settings
- Serve as first-assist for spine surgeries with frequent hands-on involvement
- Participate in cranial neurosurgery cases as training and interest align
- Review imaging, develop care plans, and coordinate smooth patient flow
- Deliver clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
- Work closely with a surgeon and team who value partnership, respect, and shared decision-making
- A strong, positive team culture built on mutual trust, support, and open communication
- High level of autonomy with guidance and collaboration always available
