Make a meaningful impact in education by supporting students with diverse needs in a contract-based Special Education teaching position. Multiple openings are available across K-8 levels, allowing you to bring your skills and passion to a dynamic and welcoming environment.

You'll have the opportunity to work in a collaborative setting within three multi-needs classrooms and one dedicated Behavioral Intervention Program (BIP) unit. Teachers will enjoy caseloads that range from 10 to 16 students, providing the chance to offer individualized attention and foster genuine connections with your students.

Desired Qualities & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching certification
• Previous experience or genuine interest in working with multi-needs or behavioral intervention units
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
• Ability to tailor instructional strategies to meet diverse student needs
• Commitment to creating a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to each student
• Adapt lessons and activities to accommodate different learning styles and abilities
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Track student progress, adjust interventions, and maintain detailed documentation
• Foster a positive classroom culture that prioritizes safety, respect, and academic growth
