Axis, AL: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Spot Truck Shuttle Driver / Forklift Operator to join our team. This is a full-time position with hours Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30am, with rotating weekend overtime (typically 6:00am–10:00am, Saturday and/or Sunday).
Essential Duties:
• Shuttle loads safely and efficiently between facilities.
• Operate spot trucks and tractor-trailers with precision.
• Use forklifts as needed to load and unload trailers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth load transfers.
Requirements/Skills:
• Minimum 3 years of heavy and tractor-trailer truck driving experience (required).
• Minimum 1 year of forklift operation experience (required).
• CDL license is not required but preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and equipment handling.
• Ability to work independently with attention to safety and detail.
• Must have reliable transportation to Axis, AL 36505 (commute or relocate prior to start).
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating vehicles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when loading/unloading.
• Regular use of hands, arms, and legs for driving and forklift operation.
• Ability to work in a warehouse and outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
