We are looking for an experienced Benefits Administrator to join our team in Birmingham, Alabama. In this role, you will oversee various aspects of employee benefits, ensuring seamless administration and excellent customer service. You will collaborate closely with HR, payroll, and vendors to support employees and maintain compliance with company policies. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and flexible hours.

Responsibilities:

• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment and ongoing management through systems such as Paylocity.

• Facilitate orientations for new team members, guiding employees on benefit options and assisting with enrollment processes.

• Collaborate with the HR Director to coordinate open enrollment sessions and provide clear explanations to employees.

• Reconcile vendor bills and ensure accurate reporting and payments.

• Partner with payroll to ensure seamless integration of benefits-related data.

• Manage relationships with vendors, maintaining strong communication during open enrollment and throughout the year.

• Generate and analyze reports using Excel and various vendor portals.

• Address employee inquiries about benefits, providing clear and empathetic explanations.

• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing employee benefits programs.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with employees, including those in sensitive situations.

• Proficiency in Paylocity, Microsoft Excel, and other benefits-related portals is a plus.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Familiarity with benefit plan structures, including 401(k) and leave programs.

• Experience collaborating with vendors and managing open enrollment processes.

• Passion for benefits administration and a commitment to supporting employees.
