Interim Staff Accountant POST NUMBER: 480258
Birmingham, AL | On-site | $40-45/h We’re looking for an Interim Staff Accountant to jump in and provide hands-on support to our client during a critical period. This role is a great fit for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is confident in core accounting functions. What you’ll do:
- Handle GL entries, reconciliations, and reporting
- Support month-end / year-end close
- Assist with audits, tax filings, and financial analysis
- Manage AP/AR activity and contribute to budgeting/forecasting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 4 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar)
