Job Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise ironworker crews on active construction sites.

• Manage daily field operations and ensure work is completed according to project requirements.

• Coordinate construction activities with project managers, fabricators, and general contractors.

• Review and interpret structural drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain project schedules.

• Monitor project progress and adjust plans to address delays or challenges.

• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

• Ensure all work follows OSHA regulations and federal construction safety requirements.

• Maintain a safe and productive jobsite environment.

• Train, coach, and mentor ironworkers on proper construction practices and safety procedures.

• Track project milestones and support successful project completion.

• Communicate project updates and field issues with leadership and stakeholders.

• Qualifications and Certifications

• Proven experience supervising ironworker crews.

• Strong background in steel erection and structural steel construction.

• Experience managing small to large-scale steel projects.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and structural plans.

• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.

• Strong leadership and crew management skills.

• Experience coordinating with general contractors, fabricators, and project managers.

• Ability to manage schedules, manpower, and resources effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Willingness to travel as required for project assignments.

• OSHA safety certifications preferred.
