4M Research is seeking a President and Chief Operating Officer to join our team in Huntsville, AL.

Position Overview:

The President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) provides strategic, operational, and technical leadership. This executive co-executes the corporate vision, drives operational excellence, and scales engineering capabilities. The role requires a rare blend of deep technical expertise and decades of proven defense industry leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Executive Experience : 25+ years of proven, progressive leadership experience within a defense contractor environment
• Education: (BS) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related STEM field and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited institution
• Market Expertise : Proven track record of winning and executing defense contracts within the Huntsville/Redstone Arsenal ecosystem
• Clearance Level : Active Top Secret Clearance

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Deep understanding of technical requirements and execution
• Experience transitioning a small defense contractor through corporate lifecycle phases and joint ventures
• Ability to transform complex technical requirements into profitable, executable corporate strategies
