As a Security Professional - Healthcare Site - Full Time in Gardendale, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the location, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any situations that may arise. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while assisting with access control and monitoring activities. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in a healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities as appropriate for the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and support a secure environment.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons within the location.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
