Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Home Health RN for a 13-week full-time contract in Hoover, AL. This role offers the opportunity to provide one-on-one, patient-focused care in the home setting while collaborating with a trusted national home health agency.

The position follows a MondayFriday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with minimal weekend or on-call duties (approximately one weekend per month). Ideal candidates will have strong field nursing experience, proficiency in OASIS documentation, and confidence using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).

Job Duties:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to geriatric patients in their homes
• Conduct thorough assessments using Oasis documentation
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, wound care, and other prescribed treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient needs are met
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes and self-care techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Homecare Homebase
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards and protocols

Requirements:

• Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Active American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
• At least 1 year of home health experience with geriatric patients
• Proficiency in Oasis and Homecare Homebase
• Oasis Certified strongly preferred
• Reliable transportation
• Completion of the Joint Commission onboarding standards upon offer
