Auto Technician/Mechanic - GM Certified

Job Overview
We are seeking skilled Automotive Technicians, either GM-certified or GM experience, and at least 3-4 ASEs, to join our team, 30 miles southeast of Mobile, Alabama .

Shop outfitted with excellent equipment and temperature control.

Great pay (option for extra hours and more pay).

Duties

• Diagnose and repair automotive issues with focus on GM.
• Perform transmission and engine work, as needed.
• Heating and AC repairs as needed.
• Repair or replace automotive electrical systems, including wiring, batteries, and lighting.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

• Experience with GM vehicles desired; other OEMs with 3+ years, considered.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues accurately.
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership is preferred.
• Experience working with automotive electrical systems, EV & AC is preferred.
• Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals to assist in repairs.
• ASE certifications are preferred.
