Job Description

This role oversees daily shipping and warehouse operations, ensuring materials are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. The position manages a team of warehouse employees, coordinates with sales, logistics, and quality teams, and maintains safety, productivity, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced industrial environment. Ideal candidates have prior shipping or warehouse leadership experience, preferably within PVF, manufacturing, or industrial distribution.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily shipping and warehouse operations
• Manage picking, packing, loading, and outbound shipments
• Supervise and support a team of 7–10 warehouse employees
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and quality control teams
• Prioritize workloads and manage daily operational flow
• Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on time
• Monitor and maintain warehouse equipment and dock operations
• Train employees on processes, procedures, and safety standards
• Conduct safety meetings and enforce workplace safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
• Identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced industrial setting

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3+ years of PVF, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial distribution experience
• Prior shipping or warehouse supervisory/leadership experience
• Ability to lead and organize a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Experience working with logistics, sales, and quality teams
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to read and understand industry specifications, charts, and tables
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and operate warehouse equipment as needed
• English fluency required; bilingual Spanish preferred

The base pay range for this position is $24-$26/ hr , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
