Concrete Finisher
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Concrete Finisher to join our team in Mobile, AL. As a Concrete Finisher, you will play a crucial role in shaping and finishing concrete surfaces to ensure high-quality results for our construction projects. If you have a passion for craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and clean surfaces for concrete pouring, including setting forms and ensuring proper alignment.
- Mix and pour concrete according to specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Finish concrete surfaces using hand tools, trowels, and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality and make necessary adjustments to meet project standards.
- Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in the training of new team members in concrete finishing techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in concrete finishing are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Salary info:
$18 - $22 / hr
