Customer Service Representative

Genesis Staffing is currently looking for Customer Service Representatives with 2+ years experience in Mobile, AL! Our client is committed to minimizing environmental impact while delivering exceptional customer service in the environmental/waste industry. Call center experience is preferred but not required, must have strong customer service skills and experience. Experience utilizing automated systems for handling calls and documentation is required.

Pay: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and requests
  • Provide exceptional customer service through phone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a deep understanding of waste management services to answer customer questions accurately
  • Collaborate with other departments to address and resolve customer inquiries
• Provide Administrative Support to teams as needed
  • Assist with general office tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
  • Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including memos and emails
  • Support the management team with various administrative tasks as needed
• Data Entry and Record Keeping
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records and databases
  • Enter financial and operational data into relevant systems
  • Ensure data integrity and security in all administrative and finance tasks
  • Generate reports and summaries for management as required
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in customer service, administrative support required
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in using office software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements

• Vision: adequate to enter and read material on computer screens. Able to identify individuals to initiate greetings, the giving of directions and other business interactions.
• Hearing: Able to hear safety alerts and warning signals.
• Speaking: Able to engage in conversations in person and via electronic means and deliver information to groups of varying size with or without amplification.
• Carrying: able to occasionally carry up to 20lbs/9kg.
