The Senior Engineer serves as a technical leader and escalation point, providing advanced infrastructure support while mentoring junior engineers. This role combines deep technical expertise with project leadership to design, implement, and optimize complex technology solutions across client environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership

• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues
• Design and architect enterprise-level solutions
• Lead technical projects and implementations
• Develop technical standards and best practices
• Review and approve technical documentation
• Mentor and train junior engineers
• Provide technical guidance to the team

Infrastructure Architecture

• Design and implement complex network solutions
• Architect cloud and hybrid environments
• Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades
• Design disaster recovery solutions
• Develop security architectures
• Create automation frameworks
• Optimize system performance

Client Environment Management

• Lead complex client implementations
• Architect multi-site network solutions

• Oversee infrastructure upgrades
• Develop client technology roadmaps
• Guide strategic technology decisions

Project Leadership

• Lead technical project planning

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years systems engineering experience
• Strong infrastructure design experience
• Advanced Microsoft technologies knowledge
• Deep networking and security expertise
• Project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Travel

Travel to customer sites using your own vehicle. No overnight travel.

Predominantly operates in an office environment. Some periods of time may be spent in computer room and communications equipment spaces for installation, testing, and troubleshooting. Some work (less than 5%) requires moving and lifting of heavy networking equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and climb to reach materials (must be able to climb a step ladder at approximately ten feet in height and to work from a lift up to twenty feet in height).
