Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and be part of creating a great shopping experience.
• Ring sales.
• Check, steam, and prepare product for the floor.
• Restock and help maintain appearance of the store.
• Assist with before or after hours product and visual merchandising.

Soca Clothing first opened its doors in 2000 at Five Points South in Downtown Birmingham. Soca offered the city a new shopping experience with a unique selection of contemporary women’s apparel and a vast collection of designer denim. Soca quickly became known for its outstanding customer service and adopted the nickname of “Birmingham’s denim destination.”

In 2007, Soca relocated to the prominent Eighteenth Street in Downtown Homewood allowing the team to better connect with its customers and the community. Soca's new home and stylish client base enabled the brand to grow as a strong leader in the fashion industry and was voted “Best Boutique” three years in a row by Birmingham Magazine readers.

In 2009 Soca's little sister store Soca Girl for tween ages, opened across the street in downtown Homewood. In 2011and 2012 Soca opened two other locations and expanded to online retail at socaclothing.com to serve an even greater audience. The team looks forward to the continued growth of the company as it furthers its mission of providing an unmatched shopping experience while upholding the company's core values: Love People.
