1436 - RF Test Engineer

EWA, a Sigma Defense company, is seeking a Network Engineer with experience in spectrum management, propagation modelling, and electronic warfare operations to manage all aspects of PNT event requests and reporting. The ideal candidate possesses a strong degree of focus, demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, is adept at interfacing with technical and non-technical personnel, and has a comprehensive understanding of radio frequency propagation in particular, as well as computer simulation in a broader context.

• A minimum of 10 years of RF/EW experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of PNT experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in the creation and submission of PNT event request packets.
• Experience in spectrum management, propagation modeling, and electronic warfare operations.
• Strong understanding of radio frequency propagation.
• Strong understanding of computer simulations.
• GIANT propagation modelling software experience is highly desirable.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

• Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance or higher.
• Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

• Creating and filing PNT event request packets.
• Tracking PNT event requests.
• Coordinating with various government agencies.
• Creating Radio Frequency (RF) propagation models.
• Assisting in Threat System emplacement planning.
• Assisting with PNT event liaison duties between customer and support teams.
• Making formal presentations.
• Data entry.
• Heavy lifting.
• Working outside in extreme weather.
• Climbing on vehicles.
• Working in remote locations.

Salary Range : $90,000 - $115,000 annually.
