Lead Assembler – $17/hr | Temp-to-Hire | Monday–Friday Schedule

Location: Theodore, AL

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

We’re seeking a Lead Assembler to join a growing production team in Theodore, AL . This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with stable hours and an early weekday schedule. The ideal candidate has previous assembly or manufacturing experience and is ready to take the lead on a production line.

Key Responsibilities:

• Start and monitor production lines daily at 7:30 AM

• Ensure company procedures and work instructions are followed consistently

• Perform quality checks and identify product defects or non-conformances

• Confirm accurate carton quantities, labeling, shelf life compliance, and product content per work order

• Monitor production output and make necessary adjustments to maintain efficiency

• Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members

• Recommend and implement personnel changes as needed to optimize workflow

• Transition lines from one production work order to the next

• Perform all general assembler duties as needed

• Maintain lot traceability and complete line count reconciliations during component changes

• Assist in updating and revising product documentation

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience: At least 1 year in an assembly or manufacturing environment

• Skills:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Organized, proactive, and dependable

  • Comfortable performing basic math calculations

  • Basic supervisory experience is a plus

• Language: Must be able to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

• Physical Demands:

  • Able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours

  • Regularly lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally up to 25 lbs, and rarely up to 50 lbs
