Who Pilot Catastrophe Is: Pilot Catastrophe Services is an independent insurance adjusting firm headquartered in Mobile, Alabama. Pilot's goal is to provide a better way to handle catastrophe claims. Pilot works to provide a better service for carriers, adjusters, and policyholders alike. Pilot provides capital, human resources, and a 24 hour assistance through customer service representatives, claims processors and administrative support staff. When disaster strikes, Pilot partners with major insurance carriers to serve their communities. Why this position is open: Pilot partners with multiple major insurance carriers, in response to the most recent storms they have onboarded an additional 1000 resources to support the incoming insurance claims and ensure they are able to respond quickly to get people back on their feet after the storms. With this surge of adjuster and call center resources they need to ensure they can provide support across a multi-building campus in Mobile, AL. In order to best support their customers Pilot has onsite Desktop Support to ensure the team members have everything they need to support their end clients. This resource will be working alongside one other resource in an overlapping shift (one shift - 7:00am-4:00pm, second shift - 10::00am - 7:00pm) to support these resources through the rest of the hurricane season and the surge of claims. What you will do: As a Desktop Tech you will work onsite in Mobile, AL and report directly to the Desktop Manager. Your role will be focused on supporting 3 primary areas. First, you will be working alongside Pilot corporate employees and Contract insurance adjusters to quickly and professionally resolve equipment issues whether that be related to hardware, software, or peripherals. This will be split across a team that handles requests as they come in and responds to tickets submitted by end users. Second, you will be supporting a continued maturation of the Microsoft Intune environment. Pilot has been an Intune and Auto Pilot environment for a long time; however, recently began reconfiguring policies and overall Intune approach to support a large client's shift to BYOD. They are looking for someone who has experience using Intune to support the tool as it exists today, and to be part of their team as that usage evolves. Third, you will be part of the team that supports equipment deployment, and supporting the influx of adjusters and end users that spikes should there be a storm that Pilot is required to respond to. This could include typical requests coming from end users, but could also be anything from moving equipment like desktops and monitors, cable management when setting up equipment, set up and break down of training rooms based on equipment requests issued by end users, and other duties as assigned.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
They need to have the ability to work with end users. This is a corporate support position so they will be interacting with executive resources, and customer service reps. Need to have strong communication and customer service skills. These resources need to also be able to work independently if they will be working in the work station area. Qualifications • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Associates Degree or higher preferred • Related experience • Experience using Windows 10, and the Microsoft Office Suite • Must have a strong understanding of technologies, practices, and trends • Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities • Writing, editing, and documentation skills • Ability to work as a team or on individual projects • Must be highly disciplined, self-starter, and leader with the ability to execute on assignments independently, and effectively • Must have good organization, presentation and exceptional time management skills • Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to interact with individuals from all levels of the organization

The pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $65000.00/yr.
