Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as ordered; document administration and monitor for adverse effects.
- Perform routine nursing assessments, monitor vital signs, wound care, and respond to resident needs during night shifts.
- Support activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain resident safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with RNs and the interdisciplinary team to update care plans and communicate changes in resident status.
- Maintain accurate charting in the electronic medical record and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and infection control practices.
- Observe and report acute changes in condition, and escalate to the supervising nurse as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active LPN license in Alabama.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings preferred.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts on a rotating schedule (3x12) and meet the 36-hour weekly commitment.
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills; ability to work with a diverse resident population.
